I'm Alex. I've been a nurse for over a decade. I've worked all kinds of jobs in my field, but I never felt like I was using the skills I had in a way that made a difference. I wasn't living into my potential - only someone else's beliefs about it. I always searched for something that made sense for me.
And then I discovered this. Coaching.
Helping others take the steps they need to achieve their dreams. If I've learned anything, it's that we owe it to ourselves, our families, our friends, our communities, and our world to learn what makes us soar, no matter what it is. When we do that, we gain the power to lift others with us.

WHAT IS WAKING OWL?
Across cultures, owls have long symbolized wisdom and prosperity. Within each of us is an innate wisdom about our authentic lives - who we're meant to be, what we should do, how we need to live. The owl is a reminder of that wisdom and guides us to the best versions of ourselves.
The moon appears every night without fail. Even when it is pale and slim against the expansive darkness of the night sky, it remains, sharing its light until that light can grow. It offers us the reassurance that by showing up completely with what we want, even when it feels impossible against competing demands, we can cultivate more for ourselves.
The concept of waking is all about awakening to what calls our service and energy - our vision for lives and businesses. There is no wrong answer except the one that leads us away from the person or organization we need to be. By waking to our purpose, we can live more solidly in our strength and strip away what blocks our journey forward.

Coaching is a facilitated approach to solving problems and exploring our deeper desires and intentions. Coaching is about creating a space where you can mentally play with whatever is bothering you or standing in your way. It's about moving around obstacles, instead of sitting with them.
Coaching feels like time and space to consider alternatives. It sounds like questions that awaken greater consciousness and stimulate deeper wisdom. It looks like blending the brain's endless capacity for imagination, emotion, language, and perception to create concrete steps for you to move forward.

STRUCTURE OF COACHING
Introduction & Goal Setting
We discuss where you'd like to focus your attention through some simple coaching activities. You should leave with the first step toward your goal.
This session includes answering your questions and discussing what a coaching agreement would look like, particularly the duration, pricing, and a review of the coaching contract.
Mid-Point Check-in
As the coaching agreement continues, energy is maintained by consistently achieving small goals that bring you closer to your vision for your life; the mid-point check-in gives a jolt to your progress by offering perspective compared to where you started, and helps ensure the rest of your actions are aligned with your initial goal.
Contract & Initial Session
The contract outlines the duration of the coaching partnership and what you're committing to yourself when you begin the coaching process.
The initial session marks the beginning of the coaching journey and the height of motivation and energy as you take steps toward achieving what you want.
End-Point Check-in
With so much accomplished, the final few coaching sessions give you the opportunity to reflect on the incredible progress you've achieved and consider what you'd like to tackle next.
